THE SWISS ARMY KNIFE OF PLUGINS FOR TRACKING
50 YEARS OF ANALOG DESIGN IN ONE SINGLE PLUGIN.
Introducing the Heritage Audio BritStrip plugin. A true recreation of Heritage Audio’s very own BritStrip CONSOLE CHANNEL STRIP, a modern classic in thousands of studios around the World.
The BritStrip combines an expanded 73 style equalizer and the famous diode bridge compressor from Heritage Audio’s popular SUCCESSOR.
Description
AN EXPANDED 73 EQUALIZER
The impact of the BritStrip EQ is hard to believe with extreme boosts being surprisingly musical.
The mid band is great for sculpting fat and punchy snares, kicks, guitars and vocals.
No need to be subtle as you would with most equalizers, the BritStrip won’t sound phasey or compromise your signal even at extreme settings.
The Class-A high-pass filter, lets you remove any excess low end without affecting the quality of the rest of the signal.
The high and low shelves also include a bell mode making them very useful for defining your sounds.
A SUCCESSOR-LIKE COMPRESSOR
This powerful diode bridge modeled compressor design is perfect to use for tracking, providing a thick, solid, punchy sound, with thorough dynamic control, a “BLEND” function that permits getting the perfect balance between the original signal and the compressed signal as well as its sidechain filter allowing you to focus the compression on specific frequencies. This gives you plenty of tracking potential, as you can give instruments that “record-ready” vibe as performers monitor – so they can hear a finished “real-time feel” as they perform.
ROUTING FLEXIBILITY
The BritStrip allows for flexible internal routing.
Equalizing pre-compression makes the compression detector more sensitive to the boosted frequencies and less sensitive to those cut. Inversely, equalizing post compression makes the detector insensitive to the EQ settings.
You cannot buy a plugin if you don’t have hardware registered.
